A dog in Tulsa, Oklahoma, caused a house fire after chewing through a lithium-ion battery, as captured on video by the Tulsa Fire Department. The battery sparked and ignited, sending two dogs and a cat fleeing.
Fortunately, all pets escaped unharmed through a dog door. The fire department emphasized the dangers of lithium-ion batteries, which can explode when damaged. They urged caution in storing these batteries and recommended disposing them at designated recycling centers to prevent fires.
