Joqquin Palomino with the San Francisco Chronicle writes, “it could be the filthiest spot in a city where complaints about urine and feces on the streets have reached an all-time high.”

Palomino continues:

While the human-waste problem used to be concentrated downtown, South of Market and in the Tenderloin, it has spread out into the Mission District, which tallied nearly 2,600 such complaints to the city’s 311 Web portal between January and mid-October — already a roughly 2.5-fold increase from 2011, when Mayor Ed Lee took office.

Local San Francisco resident notes, “I’ve seen people banging heroin, sleeping, having sex, everything and it’s much worse now than it ever was.”
