Two people were found dead in a Sacramento street last Sunday after an attempted home invasion on a house that was growing marijuana illegally. The incident happened on the 5900 block of 68th Street, where the two dead bodies were found lying in the middle of the road. The identities of the two people killed have not yet been released. Sacramento Police Department spokeswoman Linda Matthew stated:
Our department has noticed that the violence associated with marijuana grows seems to be increasing, resulting in these armed confrontations…
This is a scary incident that could have put the people living in that neighborhood in serious risk of also being casualties. Hopefully, this type of violence does not continue to increase because it is a threat to public safety.
